Club motto: Friends, Corvettes & fun!

Our club revolves around Friends, Corvettes, and Fun.  We are an Adult Group of people who love our Corvettes and want to make new friends while enjoying our cars.We also join in activities with other Corvette clubs

Vegas Valley Vettes is run by all members who attend our monthly meeting.  Meetings are held on the 3rd Tuesday of the month at 6:30 PM in the banquet room at Mimi's Cafe (6760 N. Durango, Las Vegas, 89149)  You are welcome to enjoy Mimi's food. If you do wish to eat, please come early and order before the meeting starts as orders are not taken while the meeting is in progress.  A portion of the proceeds from the dining at the meeting comes back to the club.

All decisions about the group are decided by vote of members in attendance at the meeting.  By attending meetings each month you help shape the group.  Meetings generally last about an hour and include a review of past and future events, any topics needing discussion and vote, as well as a raffle.

Events are put on by our members.  The group is notified and reminded of events by email.  Anyone can put an event together at anytime.  Just send all the information by email to VegasValleyVettes@yahoo.com  and we will be more then happy to send it out to all members.  Any information received from members on your event will be sent to you. If you would like to put together a monthly event or a charity event but are not sure how to go about it, contact us at the above email address and we will respond.

We usually caravan to events from the Albertson's across from Bozarth's at US 95 and Ann Road.  When caravanning we ask you to bring a radio/walkie-talkie set to channel 7 to communicate with other cars.  Radios are the key in a successful caravan.  This is very important to the safety of the group. It helps us stay in close contact while traveling so we stay together and not lose any cars.  Use your radio to alert other drivers to speed adjustments, lane changes, road hazards, members caught at lights,  and members who may break down. Plus it makes for fun while travel.  Don't be afraid to use the radio!  Let's not leave anyone behind!  Let's be safe!

Fast Track events are last minute events or get togethers.  You can just email the information to our Communications Chairperson (VegasValleyVettes@yahoo.com) and it will be sent to all members.  We then hook up at a location and caravan together to the fast track or if closer to the fast track members will meet us there.
